Frequently Asked Questions

You probably have many questions as you look towards finding mental health support for yourself, a loved one or a patient. We will address some commonly asked questions here. If your question is not answered here, please reach out Info@Fairmarc.ca or (877) 436-7838

  • 1 FEES & PAYMENT

    Psychological services are covered by most extended health insurance plans and yet are not covered by OHIP. Please check your insurance plan to determine your eligibility and coverage.  Our fees follow the guidelines set by the Ontario Psychological Association and may vary according to the time and nature of the service provided. Payments are accepted in email money transfer, cash or cheque. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel an appointment. If you do not cancel within 24 hours, you will be responsible for paying for a missed session.

  • 2 PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

    Your privacy is very important to us, which includes ensuring that our sessions together are confidential. There are some limits to this confidentiality, which we will review in depth with you during our initial in-person session. We adhere to Ontario’s health privacy legislation, the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us.

  • 3 REFERRAL PROCESS

    Our referral process is simple. Please just reach out via email at info@Fairmarc.ca or call us (877) 436-7838. What we typically do is set up an initial intake call to answer any questions you have and to get a better sense of your needs. Feel free to reach out for yourself, for someone you love, or if you are a health care provider and need services for your patient. You do not need a referral from your primary care physician.
